A quick introduction to season one of the new Back to Life podcast

Hey there! I wanted to take a moment to quickly introduce you to the upcoming season of the brand-new Back to Life podcast. I’m so excited to be your host for this show, as we engage in off-the-couch conversations about how we can more intentionally participate in our lives. And you know what? That intentional participation is actually an act of self-care – and as anyone who knows me will tell you, self-care is something I encourage everyone to do.

If you don’t know me yet, my name is Nicole Green and I’m a licensed therapist based in the beautiful state of New Mexico, also known as the Land of Enchantment. Every day in my private practice, I work with courageous women (and a few men too) to empower and inspire them to press on and grow – with a little grace and some knowledge – towards a more fulfilling life.

An important thing you’ll notice about me in this podcast is that I will say “we” a lot. That’s because I truly believe that I am in this WITH you. I tell this to my clients and I’m telling this to you: I walk this road as well – no one is perfect – but together we can make a difference in each other’s lives.

That’s why I’m calling this first season of the Back to Life podcast the “It’s Relatable” series. We’ll talk about how we can relate to each other and the world around us in a healthier way. We’ll explore topics such as making friends as an adult, boundaries, people pleasing, love languages, and so much more.

Another fun thing you might notice is that each episode is titled after a song that relates to the topic at hand. I did this mainly because I’m a big fan of all kinds of music, and it helped me organize the episode themes in a fun way, but I also hope it helps my listeners relate to me too!

At the end of the day, my goal in this new space is, as always, to encourage you and cheer you on to better health and wellness. I’m honored to share, learn, and grow with you on this journey.

I hope you’ll continue to join me in the conversation — but remember, although I am a licensed therapist, this community is no way a replacement for any medical advice, therapy or professional support. Please, I encourage you to seek professional help when needed, to walk you through some of the subjects that we may be talking through.

I’ll be releasing the first few episodes of the Back to Life podcast very soon. In the meantime, stay tuned and be well!
